Hi Everyone! Today is FRIDAY, that means it is a new challenge week over at CSAYL!

This week the challenge is to make a card with a photo or photo holder.

The prize this week is a guest designer position for CSAYL! YAY!

I decided to use SVG Attic's Tent Card collection as it is PERFECT for creating photo holders!

I used the wide rounded rectangle  card template and cut out with my digi cutter. I embellished it A LOT! I just love how it turned out!

CSAYL Design Team Friday

It's that time again! HAPPY FRIDAY!

This weeks CSAYL challenge is uing a card sketch!

This sketch is from

I used The Ballet stack from DCWV. I tought I would use some non-tradition Christmas colors this time and surprise myself.

I really like the way this card turned out. I used my Tim Holtz distresser, Colorsnap Colorbox ink, ribbon from Hobby Lobby, Cucumber and Blossom twine from The Twinery, Rose Bud Memento Ink pad, and Hobby Lobby open stock solid cardstock.

I did not want to cover the image of the little girl with the sentiment so I stuck it up top. The stamp is from Punkin Patch Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to enter the challenge this week over at CSAYL! You could win a mini Christmas stamp set along with some 6x6 papers!

CSAYL Design Team Friday!

Welcome everyone! Thanks for stopping in to see my project for CSAYL!

This week we do not have a sponsor for our challenge, but the winner of the challenge will be our first guest designer! How exciting is that?!?!

The challenge is ANYTHING GOES! Use any paper, any stamp, anything you like!

For my project I used K&Co. Glad Tidings paper for the cardinal and buck cut outs. I inked all edges and popped them up with foam adhesives. I used AC Cardstock for the card base and created my own type of card. I cut the card at 4.25" x 8.25" and scored at 5.5" using my Scor-Pal. I then used a decorative edge punch to give it a pretty edge.

For the inside I stamped a simple "Merry Christmas"!

CSAYL Design Team Day ~ Limited Runs

If you are here for the 3D Blog Hop click here.

Hi! Thanks for joining me today! Today is my design team day with CSAYL (Christmas Stamping All Year Long)! This week's challenge is sponsored by Limited Runs!

Limited Runs is an online store that provides wonderful digi stamps at great prices!

The challenge this week is to use one digi, two papers and three embellishments!

I used the Catching a Snowflake digi for my project!

Isn't it just darling? It would be perfect for Christmas or any Winter event! So cute!

Here is the card I created!

For the digi I used the Catching A Snowflake digi.

For the papers, I used two solid color papers, cream and blue, so it did not take away from the stamp. I decided to create a shaped card and the card base is from SVG Attic's Be Mine collection.

I used three embellishments. I inked all of the edges of the papers with pigment ink, used Pink Sorbet twine from The Twinery and added a few pink rhinestones at the bottom.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to enter this weeks contest on the CSAYL Blog to win three digis from Limited Runs!

CSAYL design team project friday!

Hey everyone! I am so glad you are joing me this week. Today is my FIRST design team project with CSAYL. I am so excited to be on this team!

This week we are showcasing cutting files from The Cutting Cafe! If you haven't checked them out yet, you should hop right on over to their store to check out their amazing files (after you read my post though! HaHa!)

The challenge is to use a box or shaped card.
The prize is winners choice of 3 cutting files!

I chose to cut out the 8 BY 5.5 INCH BOX WITH DIVIDERS. This set is awesome and  comes with three different lids! You can choose two different window type lids or a plain lid. I decided to go with the plain lid to show how easy it is decorate!

The box was a cinch to put together! The lid fits easily over the top!

The dividers make it possible to seperate your little gifts or treats in this box. The assembly is self explanatory once you open all the pieces!

+

I used the Christmas Candy Cane twine from Trendy Twine to create a peppermint candy as the center of my rosette! The rosette is a file from SVG Attic's Mad Tea Party collection and I sized it down a lot! I added a couple pins, some ribbon, and a stamp!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Be sure to check out of my fellow design teams projects here!
