SVG Attic December Challenge Project

Here is my SVG Attic challenge project. I used FOUR different sets for this project. This month was color challenge using Red/Green/White/Pink/Blue. I chose Blue and White. For some reason I am into the blue and white this year! I even redecorated my house in blue and white, happy for me, not happy for the hubbys wallet! :)

So onto my project.

Here is the recipe for this project:

Box: Holly's Holiday Boxes ~ Caramel Apple Gift Box:
I used the default size and cut out four 3/4" circles in the top for the tubes to sit in. I then created a 2.5" square top with 1" circles cut out to overlay and give dimension. I cut out three 2.5" squares for the front and two sides and embossed them with the Swiss Dots embossing folder by Cuttlebug.

Snowman: Build a Snowman ~ Snowman:
I sized the snowman to 2" wide and cut out the arms, hat and scarf. Popped him out with some foam dimension squares. The face is from Peachy Keen Stamps Funshine Face Parts.

Snowflake: All the Trimmings ~ Snowflake:
The snowflake is sized to 2.5" and I used one for each side of the box. I only cut the Bottom.svg and Middle.svg files. I then adorned with blue and white pearls, and blue rhinestones.

Caption: Cozy Christmas Captions ~ Snowballs: (ON SALE 40% OFF)
I sized the caption to 4" wide for all layers.

I used paper from pinkpaislee's Snow Day collection called warm mittens. I also used a white gelly pen to add stitching in various areas of the project. I used AC Cardstock for the blue solid color textured cardstock and Recollections cardstock for the white cardstock. I added "snowballs" using Recollections Glitter Shapes (Circle 3/4"). I inked most edges using ColorBox pigment ink stamps, Mulberry twine from the Twinery.

For the tubes I used Sparklink Yarn by Darice that I picked up at JoAnn's awhile back. I used Glue Dots to hold it in place and wrapped around top. Cut off excess peeking over lid and then hot glued a Recollectins Glitter Shape to the top. I filled the test tubes with "snowballs" yogurt covered raisins!

I hope you liked my project. Please stop by and enter the challenge here, and to view all the other design team members projects!

Happy Crafting!
