You Light Up My Life Blog Hop

You light up my life
You give me hope
To carry on
You light up my days
and fill my nights with song
Jearise from Lorby's World is our hostess for today's hop which takes a look at all those things that light up our lives... be it a significant other, children, place or pets. Enjoy what they have come up with as you hop along and please leave a comment on each blog to light up their life today. Some may be giving blog candy away so keep an eye open to see and you never know...You're life may be lit up.
Leave a comment at Lorby's World and become a follower (or let her know if you already are one) to be eligible to win a $10.00 gift card to Joann's Crafts and Fabric.

I am also giving away a gift. Please become a follower here on my blog and leave a comment on this post, and go "like" Shabby Chic Stamp Co. on Facebook to be entered to win the "Easter Blessings" stamp set from Shabby Chic Stamp Co.!
SVG ATTIC is sponsoring this hop by giving away a $20.00 gift certificate to their store. SVG Attic is the last stop on our hop and to qualify for the gift certificate you must do two things:

1. Visit the SVG Attic Store and then
2. Become a follower of SVG Attic's blog and leave a comment telling which svg file from the store you like best along with your contact information.
If someone turned off the lights and you ended up here by accident, please follow the lighted path as you begin your hop at Lorby's World. If your hop stayed lit, you should have ventured over from (insert person's blog ahead of you here) and will continue on to (insert the person right after you here).
Lights on....

I chose to use a file from SVG Attic's new set releasing this week called St. Patrick's Day. It is the rainbow. Instead of using the layers of colors, I stamped them on using the Bit of Burlap background stamp from Market Street Stamps! I then used the Easter Blessings stamp set from Shabby Chic Stamp Co.. I used the sentiment "May our Lord be with you..." for the outside, and "Easter Blessings" on the inside. I added twine from The Twinery and used Peachy Keen face stamps for the cloud.

I chose this card for the hop as Jesus lights up my life completely! I believe that without Jesus I would not have everything I have, know everything I know, and continue to grow through the path he has put in front of me. I am grateful and thankful to Jesus for my family and friends, the obstacles and victories, the happiness and sadness. Without Jesus, my life would not be as bright. I chose the rainbow because it is the universal sign for God's Promise and I absolutely love rainbows!

Thanks for stoping by and I hope you enjoyed my card!
