Hi everyone! Welcome to the first day of the SCSC March release blog hop! Shabby Chic Stamp Co. has released four more adorable sets! These are all available at 15% off in the March pre-order bundle until March 15th! Be sure to order your bundle today, limited quantities!

If you have come here from the Shabby Chic Stamp Co. blog then you are on the right track! If not, hop on over to the SCSC blog and start from there!
Today I thought I would do a pictorial with the Build a Baby set!
I just love this set and the second I got it, I started stamping of course! It coordinates so well with the Sweet Pea sentiment set!

So the first photo shows you exactly what you will need to do this.

Place the body stamp on your acrylic block giving enough room for the head later.

Ink your stamp with your favorite ink!

Place the head stamp on after you have inked the body and stamp your body image. This helps with even pressure and prevents smudging!

Cut a piece of painters tape or masking tape just wide enough to cover the INSIDE of the baby's thumb. This will prevent you from stamping over the thumb so you can line up the baby's head right against the body.

Place the baby head on the acrylic block and ink it. Choose another clean stamp from the same stamp set to and place on acrylic block without inking help with even pressure. Stamp image carefully lining up the bottom of the head with the top of the body.

Remove tape and viola, an evenly stamped image. This is only needed with the baby's body with the thumb.

I hope you enjoyed this pictorial and please visit me tomorrow for some Sweet Pea and Build a Baby inspiration!

Your next stop on the hop is the very talented Lisa!

If you get lost along the way, here is the full blog hop line-up!
